About Stamp

The Parliament Buildings of Canada are featured on new definitive postage stamps designed by Montreal graphic artist Rolf Harder. New definitive postage stamps will be issued in coil and in vending machine booklet formats. A dark red, one-colour, steel-engraved version of the 34¢ Centre Block stamp will be used for the coil. A dark blue, steel-engraved version of this stamp will appear in the 50¢ vending booklet. The booklet also includes two 5¢ stamps featuring the East Block in dark brown, one-colour, steel engraving, and three 2¢ stamps showing the West Block in dark green, one-colour, steel-engraving. Each of the ten booklet covers illustrates a different architectural detail of the Centre Block.
